Phở Gà is the chicken version of Vietnam's famous beef noodle soup, named for its slippery rice noodles, bánh phở. The savory and lightly spiced broth and dipping sauce are the stars of the show. 

This quart of soup (plus a little more) generally provides two main course servings for adults with healthy appetites.

INGREDIENTS
Pho: Chicken, Cloves, coriander seeds, Onion, Fish Sauce, Ginger, Rice Noodles
Garnish: Scallions, Cilantro, Mung Bean Sprouts, Serrano Chiles
Dipping Sauce: Fish Sauce, Garlic, Ginger, Lime Juice, Sugar, Thai Chile

SERVING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until hot
  • Add Phở sauce to taste (this is a must!)
  • Add noodles to warm through

  • Garnish with cilantro, mung bean sprouts, scallions, serrano chiles
